It is mainly used as a melting furnace for smelting copper, zinc and other non-ferrous metals. In addition, power frequency induction furnace is also used as insulation furnace. At present, power frequency induction furnace has replaced resistance furnace and flame furnace to become the main equipment in casting production. Compared with resistance furnace, power frequency induction furnace has great advantages.
